- High temperature resistance
The glass transition temperature of PEEK and its compounds is 143 C degree, the melting point is 334 C degree. Independent results show that the max heat deformation temperature of PEEK is 315 C degree after GF or CF reinforcement. The long-team operation temperature is 250 C degree.
- Mechanical properties
PEEK has excellent toughness and rigidity. It is a material of the most perfect combination of toughness and rigidity among all the resins.
- Wear resistance
Peek has excellent friction and wear properties. The materials shows great wear resistance at all kinds of pressure, velocity, temperature and the original roughness conditions.
- Self-lubricating property/corrosion resistance
Peek has great glide property, which makes it suitable to be applied in the situation of low friction coefficient and wear requirement. The friction coefficient of the resin after being filled can be as low as 0.15, and with extremely low wear, it is an excellent bearing material.
- Easy processing
PEEK has excellent fluidity at a high temperature, and has a high thermal decomposition temperature. PEEK can be molded by means of injection molding, compression molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, melt spinning, etc.
