FAQ

Q1. Where is the vessel to be delivered?
A: This vessel will be delivered either at the Sellers Safe Berth and Port; wherever the vessel is located. Moreover and during the negotiation process an exact Delivery Port (ealso in the Far East) can be negotiated and agreed between Sellers and Buyers.

Q2. What are the terms of payment?
A: In general a deposit of minimum 10% up to 30% will be payable by the Buyers upon signature of the Memorandum of Agreement [MOA] / Sale Agreement. The remaining balance will have to be paid upon the closing and date of delivery. 


Q3. What is your terms of delivery?
A: to be flexible agreed/negotiated by us as shipbrokers between Sellers and Buyers. Pls refer also to Q1 above. 

Q4. How about your delivery time?
A: Generally, we recommend to all our Buyers and Clients to inspect the vessel first. After inspection GRS Global Renewables Shipbrokers GmbH will be responsible in drafting the Memorandum of Agreement [MOA] / Sale Agreement between Sellers and Buyers. After mutual agreement and signature of the MOA a vessel can be delivered in between 1 day and several months. All subject to the agreement made between Sellers and Buyers. The specific delivery time willof course also be considered in the signed MOA.

Q5. Who will arrange and support me during the Vessel Inspection and Negotiation Process?
A: Your dedicated Shipbroker and Contact Person will handle and arrange the requested Vessel Inspection (world wide). In most of the cases the Shipbroker will also attend during the Vessel Inspection. All ongoing negotiations between Sellers and Buyers will also be handled and arranged through the Shipbroker up to the Closing Meeting where the vessel will be deliverd and change of ownership will happen. 

Q6. Do I have to pay for the Brokerage Services as Buyer?
A: No. The Shipbroker will nly be paid in case of a successful transaction. The Broker Commission will always been paid by the party who have sold/delivered the asset.
